Barrons New GRE 19th Edition English book For Gre Exam
Starting in August 2011, the GRE Graduate Record Exam will undergo substantial changes, so Barron has revised its test prep manual to reflect these changes. New questions have been introduced in the GRE’s Verbal Reasoning and Quantitative Reasoning sections. Barron’s 19th edition model tests reflect these changes:
The verbal reasoning section now includes two new sentence completion types: sentence equivalence questions, which require students to provide at least two correct answers, and text completion questions, which require students to complete several sentences. There may be two or more correct answers for comprehension questions now. In some questions about reading, you may be required to choose passages from individual passages.
Quantitative Reasoning – These questions will be multiple choice and quantitative comparisons, just as they were in the past. Two question types have been added: multiple-choice questions in which the correct answer choice must be selected for each one provided, and numeric entry questions that do not give the answer choice.
There is a diagnostic test, two full-length model GREs with answer keys, and an explanation section of all questions in Barron's new GRE manual. There are also chapters on test-taking techniques and a test overview. Barron's GRE 19th Edition offers thorough preparation for all GRE-related topics, along with a diagnostic test and two full-length model GREs with answers and explanations.
