Aurora Burning -The Aurora Cycle 2 by Amie Kaufman
Return of the Heroes:
Aurora Burning. 312 Squad needs to be aware of misleading factors. For example, in the Gramps tribe, there is a lot of hostility towards this group. One of the hobbies of this tribe is to recreate new faces. And the other one is the GIA scam team, the sprout eyeliners. These two groups are yearning to trap Auri. Another character in the story is Kal's missing sister, who is not at all happy to see her younger brother. When Syldrathi's army learns that Hadfield's ship containing Auri has been found, it's time to escape. Two hundred years ago his ship disappeared and Aori was the sole survivor.
Now the Black Box may be the solution to save them, but time is running out and if Aori doesn't master her powers, the team will be annihilated. In Aurora Burning, shocking revelations, armed robberies, mysterious gifts, inappropriate costumes, and an epic battle determine the fate of the story's most unforgettable protagonist and probably the rest of the galaxy.
Epic Battle:
This book is the second in the Aurora Cycle series and is considered one of the New York Times bestsellers in the science fiction genre. From the authors of the best-selling Illuminae Records, this epic tale tells a new story. Most parts of the book have lots of action scenes, making it a story worth reading. Auri is the character whom most of the heroes in the book risk their lives. In the story, Tyler does a great job leading and taking care of the group. Cal shows his vulnerable side more in the story. Her character development is one of the best points in the story as we explore both her personality and her background. Zilla, another character in the story, shows us a lot of things, like how she lost her family and how she became the character we see. He gradually accepts his feelings throughout the story and tries to interact more with the group. Finnian, always lovable, barely appears in this book. He doesn't do much throughout the story.
Sadie is Cal's sister and one of the main antagonists of the book. He has a tough personality, evil but very cute. In Aurora Burning, the reader finds himself in the midst of an epic battle between many powerful forces. The plot of the book is extremely interesting and highly addictive, helping the reader skim through the novel in a short time. Because it starts off very strong and the reader gets excited quickly. The reason for this is the problems and obstacles that the group has to overcome by its own chaotic method.
This book, published in 2020, can score 4.7 out of 5 on Amazon and 4.3 on Goodreads.
